    Exclamation Star Shaving Supplies information

    STAR SHAVING SUPPLIES
    For information.
Star Shaving Supplies is still in operation. Ron Lucas, the owner had back surgery a couple weeks ago and his daughter is filling orders at this time. It takes time for him to get to the phone and he has trouble using the computer at times. Orders in place and new orders will be shipped as soon as possible.
    Thank you!

I just got my order, no prob. The strop had some small blemishes that I will have to sand out but at $35 for a 3" strop with removable hardware, can't complain. FWIW the first one I ordered a year or two ago was absolutely perfect. I don't remember exactly what day I ordered the one I received today, but it was just a few days ago so shipping is reasonably quick. I give them their usual two thumbs up. Speedy recovery to Ron.

No worries. If they are raised above the surrounding leather, just sand it with some 400 grit and rub the daylights out of it. You want to make sure that no grit from the sandpaper remains on the strop. I will do mine sometime today. (busy getting ready to install a shower stall on my boat)

    Hello All,
Ron just sent me an email saying that he has recovered from the surgeries and is at the business full time. He says: "Thank everyone for their patience with us!"

Glad to hear it. I have his Big Daddy strop, two balsa strops, and have received a lot of good advice from him.
