    Default TOBS Cream Scent Thread!

After not having the SLIGHTEST CLUE what some of the TOBS creams smell like... I've decided to put together a list of each cream with a list of words associated with it.... I've started 2 off myself due to them being the ones i own..

    -------------------------------

    Sensitive SkinShaving Cream -
Sandalwood Shaving Cream - Perfume, Soapy
Lavender Shaving Cream - Strong, Real Lavender, Rich Scent, Spicy Lavender
    Almond Shaving Cream -
Avocado Shaving Cream - Cucumber, Melon, Raw pumpkin, Citronella candle
Eton College Shaving Cream - Bright, Citrusy
Jermyn Street Shaving Cream - Wood, Forest, Fresh, Green, Aquatic
Lemon and Lime Shaving Cream - Dish soap
Mr Taylors Shaving Cream - Rich Scent, Professional Scent, Sandalwoody, classic, musk, sweet, herbal, fruit, sandalwood
    Rose Shaving Cream - roses
    Shaving Shop Shaving Cream -
    St. James Shaving Cream -

    -----------------------------

So now you guys have to fill in the gaps!. Post below how you would describe certain creams (Mainly the ones that don't have a specific "Scent")

I bought the Avocado and while it gives a super lather it's the most boring cream scent I have! Eaton College next time I reckon!
One thing I noticed about the TOBS Avocado is that it feels colder than all my other creams and soaps when I apply it.

The rose is strong in the tub, but softens after lathering. It is deffinately rose scent, no mistaking it. I think it smells pretty good and so does SWMBO. She even asked me to whip some up for her to use.

To me, TOBS Rose has a bit of a powdery note - a bit more muted and less of a pure rose scent than, say, DR Harris or GFT Rose.

I would describe Avocado as more of a raw pumpkin... actually almost exactly like that to me.

Lemon and Lime - Dish soap

Really their only scent I don't care for.

Eton College smells like a bright citrusy cologne scent. The Avocado smells like a citronella candle. Rose smells very much like roses but slightly artificial. Mr. Taylors smells... well it smells really nice but I can't really describe it.

TOBs scents are all masculine cologne interpretations. I like all of them.

Agreed. I have tried Jermyn and My Taylor. Both are modern cologne like scents to me.
