    Default Must Try?

What would you say the "Must Try" Razor's (Straight or DE) and Blades are?

I would 100% say Feathers are a must try..

    Razors:
DE89 - Just to see how what seems to be the most common starter razor stacks up
R41 - To find out what an aggressive razor really is.
Merkur Slant - To see what a slicing motion instead of chopping will do for you.
Yuma - Find out how good a shave you can get from something made like a cheap automobile hood ornament.

    Blades:
Derby - Just because they are so commonly used.
Astra -Just because they are so commonly used.
Feather - Are they just sharp enough to get a close shave or to promote bloodshed?
Local Discount Store Brand - Discover that they aren't really evil, just overpriced for a 5-pack.

For Razors I'd say any British Gillette: They seem to just have such a quality feel to them

For Blades I'd say any classic vintage blades from the heydays of the 70s or early 80s (but they're getting harder to find. Soo...
for current production I'd say Personna Med Prep. They may not be for you, but if they are it will probably be a love affair. You'd want to know either way.
