Default uses for empty shaving cream tubs

    Hello Gentlemen,

Does anyone have any bright ideas about putting empty shaving cream tubs to good use? Thanks!

This would only use up one container, but how about using one to hold a bar of MR GLO?

I am planning on using mine to store hard soaps that I did not want to buy bowls for.

Other soaps that are purchased as refill pucks. Chucks off of 1 kilo blocks of soft Italian soaps.

    Many shaving related uses.

Or more than one for more than one bar of MR GLO! *LOL*
But seriously, not to hijack the thread but, I'm hijacking the thread . . . briefly (I hope). I haven't noticed anything while perusing but, do you load up a brush with MR GLO and then proceed to the face or do you just use it to wash your face like you would with a normal bar of soap? I just have a sample from Gary right now so I'm just rubbing it on my face for now but I will be buying a puck or two for sure.

Using my Castle Forbes tub as the holder for my current Shave Soap (Mitchell's, I believe). It rattled around until it dissolved to the sides after a couple weeks. Little tacky, but does the job.

Hey Legion, no brush involved, you simply wash your face with it then generate some suds with your hands.
Pro Tip - if you rub the bar mostly against the grain, I think you can glean some of the "shave stick effect" where the soap wedges the whiskers into standing straight up and you can get a closer shave.

    Wait a sec....

You're supposed to actually USE the WHOLE tub?!

But then I won't be trying other things - you can see the bind I'm in....

I'm thinking of keeping one to use as a travel bowl rather than risk packing my mug.

Buy extra large 5 gallon tubs of peanut butter and split them up into your empty tubs.
