Water, water, water

I'm a very new DE user and tried this with my AOS cream. WOW! what a difference. The lather was not pretty but what a smooth shave. Thank you for the thread. This website is gold for beginners like me. The lather I made was almost runny and wasn't pretty but made for a great irritation free shave. This could have been to my ever improving technique, but I would like to think the extra water in my lather helped ALOT.

Yes, this mirrors what I experienced--the lather a little bit runny seems to work best for me.
