Same cartons as the discontinued Argentinian and Italian tubes. The Lebanese tubes I have tried were very nice, perhaps you got an old one exposed to too much heat..The Lebanese Gada creams are just as good as the Gillettes ,with even more glide do to the emulsification of Vaseline into the cream formula...

I understand Gillette discontinued their brush shaving creams worldwide. Arko (from bestshave.net) is a wonderful shaving cream (in the tube, used with brush), lathers up slick and protective. Best of all it is cheap (about $2.50 a tube plus shipping). I have used the Maximum Comfort which is just about scentless but there are other varieties if you need a scent.

I will not miss Gillette shaving cream.

Smells bad. Lathers bad. Dries your skin.

Even if it was given for free I think it is expensive.

Their lather is good and so is lifespan.

I'm a fan of the Gillette regular. Nice lather and glide, smells great.

These were manufactured in Lebanon, my last tube manufacture date is January 2011.
Never seen 2012 manufactured one, 2011 is final year for gillette creams.
Ive never tried the euro made ones, because they never marketed here but only Lebanese made creams.
