    Default Suggest me a wallet

I'm looking for what I'd call a checkbook wallet. Perhaps one like you'd often see in a Western wear store. I want compartments for bills and cards and my checkbook.

No $70000 Saddleback stuff or whatever it is. Something like $30 or less. Preferably less.

I know you said no Saddleback, but I'm head over heels happy with my medium bifold wallet from them. It won't hold a checkbook, but it's big enough to hold some cards, some cash, and a few checks if you need to put them inside. For $45, it can't be beat, and will last forever.

Check it out, you might find that you like it enough to actually try it. I mean, you can always return it if you don't like it.

Well, that's $15 more than what I'd like to spend and I need it to hold a checkbook. So, no win for me there.

I know what I would buy, but I'm a bit funny like that...

Honestly, I think your $30 limit might be a little optimistic.

That's what I thought. The last personal check I got was from my grandfather for my birthday. He's not been with us for a while...

Aspinal of London do some great wallets of all sizes but are above your desired budget I'm afraid. Although I honestly think that as its something you carry & use everyday it might be worth investing in a nice wallet. I personally wouldn't need it big enough for a cheque book though - cant remember the last time I wrote a cheque. Cards are much more convenient.

For that price you will not get anything premium, but one suggestion is to check out a discount store like TJ Max. Plenty of quality wallets to be had for a very decent price, although I don't think I've come across a checkbook-style there.

Zappos has a bunch, starting under $30.
Be there or be square. Only I can do both!
I've got a cat named Beefeater and a dog named Beefeater, and two goldfish called Beefeater and Beefeater. There's Beefeater my hamster and Beefeater my horse, and my piglet, known as Beefeater of course.
