    Default CO Bigelow

About two weeks ago I decided to reward myself with a small tube of CO Bigelow. I have been using it daily since. I'm not sure I will like it as much in the winter as the summer... but with this little heat wave of late, I find that I like the crispy feel of it.

    Anyone else feel that way?

Bigelow is GOOD stuff. On a really hot day, finish off with an aftershave with a lot of menthol -- I'm currently using Osage Rub for that.

Just yesterday I was at B&BW to get a tube. It took one "come on" from my friend to twist my arm into the buy 2 get 1 free.

My face will be chilled for quite a while now.

Its a nice refreshing cream. I too like to use it more often in the summer.

Hi Gunky, the current Bigelow is the now "old formula" Proraso... still has parabens.

Check out the "ingredients" tab on this page for more info.

Half a tube is also perfect to travel with too. A good "no-worries" shaving cream.

If you want to try the new version of Proraso it is available from several retailers. Connaught is selling both versions currently in some flavors. Some site based out of Italy is supposed to be selling them as well but I can't remember that site's name.

Bigelow followed by Aqua Velva or Mennen Skin Bracer on a hot day is hard to beat! :)

Thank goodness, I'd hate to think there's any chance of my shave creams going bad due to baseless hippie fearmongering.

I've been a Proraso user for a while. I just picked up 3 tubes of C.O.B. for $20...shaving gods be praised!

I did this a couple times this past winter here in Wyoming. Talk about a face freeze! I like the stuff and it is now assigned mainly to my warm weather routine. I can't imagine anything more refresshing on the face after a hot work day.

Thank you for your service, AirForceMX. If you are still in Afghanistan please punch some Al-Quida members in the stomach for me, pretty please. I hate Al-Quida with a passion for killing all those people on 11th September!

I could see where it would be a problem during the winter in colder climes (like when I lived in the Chicago area), but here in Dallas, even in the winter, it plays very well.
