    Default Snoots

    I just posted a photo of some French soaps in the score thread.



    I thought I'd share a quick "how-to" get the same effect. While simple, it requires you to have some sort of off-camera lighting. I used my Nikon SB-800 on wireless mode. Here's the setup.



    The "snoot" is just a piece of printer paper wrapped around the flash to direct the light.

    Nah, this was a quick and dirty and I just used my default lens, the 18-70mm. Normally, I would have grabbed the macro...
