that Mappin & Webb is sweet, ivory scales with the blade inscription that translates SECOND TO NONE! i always wanted 2 try one myself just to see. the box is not original 2 the razor. Joseph Elliot is a very good Sheffield maker i think it is bone scaled, the Bismark is German made, the DON i am not familiar with but i think it is bone scaled. great score!!

The first I am unsure need a closer pic. By the pins most likely bone, 2 is bone, 3 is ivory (Do not un pin them) and 4 is a material I can never remember the name of.

1 & 2 are bone, 3 is ivory and 4 is bakelite or celluloid( both early plastics).

I think I will re-scale the two bone ones as the JOSEPH ELLIOT has a crack at the bottom pin and the WARRANTED one is not in good condition, know of any threads on how to re-pin them and what to use for new pins etc?
