The 3 samples of Honeybee soap I bought were just taking up space on the counter. Didn't feel like messing with all 3 individually, but what to do?
Figured they'd be good melt-and-pour candidates, but didn't have 3 suitable containers. You can see where this is headed by now.
Sliced the first puck into 1/8" x 1/8" pieces, placed them into a shallow Pyrex bowl, and set that atop a small grill sitting on a pot of boiling water. Not a sophisticated setup by any means, but in 2-3 minutes, and with a bit of stirring, the soap was melted. Poured the liquid into an EJ shave mug. Repeated with the other two pucks, placing the mug with each fresh melt in the fridge briefly to help firming.
Tomorrow I start with Ye Olde Barbershop, will work my way down to some Lime, and then eventually finish with a Cedarwood Amber. Tasty!
