WOW!!! I received my huge italian barber order in the mail today and I tried out two of the products I was most excited about...

After feeling a little let down by the chill factor from Proraso ASL, Alt-Innsbruck, Osage Rub, and AV Ice Sport, I ordered some Vitos Colonia "Ice" Aftershave and some 444. I used both the Vitos Ice and the 444 together tonight, and I am thoroughly impressed. I actually started laughing out loud about 20 minutes after finishing my shave because I was so impressed with the chill factor that was still hanging around.

If you find yourself trying some of the traditional menthol heavy hitters and wanting more, you really owe it to yourself to try the Vitos Ice, especially if you can mix in a little 444.

FWIW, the combo also provided some great skin care... after submitting my face to the SWMBO "smooth" test, she awarded the best adjective yet... velvety.

Just had some Alcolada Glacial turn up, 500ml or 16.8Fl oz. Super cool mixed with a little 444, WOWZER! May try thre Vitos AS.

Thanks for the suggestion Jay, I'll have to try that for sure! I was disappointed with the chill from "the rub" on it's own after hearing how it was too much for many guys to bear...
Although I have some 4711 awaiting me in my mailbox as I type, so tonight will be the much lauded 444 + 4711 combo test drive.
(after a lime test soap or don marco... the jury is still deliberating)

Incidentally, speaking of vitos products and menthol chill, I also received a 100ml glass jar of the vitos pre/post.

The jar has some impressive quality heft to it, and I think I will be trying out its contents for the first time tonight.
Perhaps the vitos pre, proraso lather, vitos ice / 444 combo will be in order soon!

That pre 'n'post shave cream is good. Not as big a kick as Proraso pre 'n' post, but a little bit more slick. Leaves my face feeling a million dollars.

Good question Jay. I can only compare it to the AV Ice Sport.
I would say that the AV offers more glycerin and is more likely to leave a slight tacky feeling, while the vitos goes on much "cleaner" but somehow manages to provide equal or better skincare. Regarding chill factor, I'd put AV Ice Sport around a 3/10, and Vitos around a 40/10.

Prior to trying the Vitos, AV Ice Sport had actually been my "go to" splash after a rough shave. It's now ready to be PIFed
