Default I've brought another one to the dark side...

I got this email from a buddy a couple of days after hyping wet shaving at a hockey game:

"So, I ran out of shaving cream yesterday and decided to just go to take your advice. I went to Walgreen’s and bought a cheap brush and some shaving soap. Holy crap… I don’t really get how people stopped shaving like this. Very impressed."

That was three weeks ago. He's already started showing signs of AD since then.

One by one, we'll have them all!

Good job. And the reason people stopped using this method is that the world went and got itself in a big hurry about everything.

Razor: Switched to the Merkur Slant full time, (I'm now an official "Slant Man")
Blade: Crystals
Brush: Shavemac 177 Silvertip
Best Lather setup for me:
Soap: HoneyBee Spa "Coconut" or "Lime"
Cream: Geo F Trumpers "Coconut" or "Lime"
(Soap + Cream = Super-Lather and makes me have dirty thoughts about my lather)

AS: Nivea after shave balm (most soothing on my skin I've found)

I think you are right. That is what my significant other and family think. The comments always are related to the extra time I need to consume to shave. They don't get it.
