A new (to me) Hammer, a small Rooney #1 Super, 100 UK Wilkinsons, and a Wilkinson Sword shave stick. (I really like the razor and the brush...I've used both 3 days in a row, which I think is a record for me. )

    From frenchsoaps.com:

If the soaps work half as well as they smell, I'll be very happy.

    Also some L'Ome shaving soap.

The Conk stuff is an amazing value - the only glycerine soaps that shave better are those with lots of goodies added (shea butter, clay, etc...).

In fact, I generally evaluate glycerine based soaps on how they compare with Conk products.

If you like the Amber, the Almond will blow your socks off (I prefer the Bay Rum to the Almond as I find the Almond a touch sweet, but the shave is very good).

Oh yeah, I use mine like a shave stick - just pop the puck out of the plastic, rub on and go to town - works great.

Default Scored some deals on T&H tubes

I was in Kansas City on Mon & Tues and made my way to the Plaza. While down there, stopped by a men's shop, called Pinstripes, which carried a nice selection of Truefitt&Hill creams. After looking I realized each of the tubes had different prices. Ended up picking up a tube of 1805 & West Indian Limes for $17.50 each! While the others where there for $22. Also if anyone is interested, they had ONE tube of Sandalwood and a few Almonds for the $17.50 price. Give em a call, I'm sure they ship, seemed to be some nice fellas.

What I think is a SuperSpeed. No date code. I can tell you that it looks identical to my Merkur Classic (save for the TTO head). Also, it's non-adjustable. Let's just say we're still getting used to each other...

Default Fatboy!!!, Who are you calling Fatboy?

(Other than a Silver Aristocrat )

The holy grail for me, has been a Gillette adjustable as old as myself. I was born in November 1959, so a code of "E4" has been my sought after "Fatboy"

Today, that dream was realised with the delivery of an Ebay success (very kindly accompanied by a pack of 5 Derbys)
