    Default Are these ivory scales?

    The top one is Sheaf 3/8 wedge, the bottom one is Heljestrand MK 31, so are the scales ivory?

    The smaller the peen the more likely its ivory from what I have seen from pictures.

    Yep, the give away is the grain pattern in the ivory and the tiny marks that were once channeling for living tissue in the bone.
