A - to me it captures the subjects true characteristics. When I look at the kettle, in particular, the depth of the clay looks more real. In both pics, there is less defined shadow which to me is a good thing. You also don't see the glare off the bottom of the bowl as much...

yea A is difused with a sheet of tissue paper and B is un filtered.
