A member sent me some Eau de Portugal hair tonic and I really like it. It smells stronger than I expected but the smell is pleasant. My hair doesn't fell greasy just conditioned.

+1. The Eau de Portugal has a nice citrusy scent. I also tried the Eau de Quinine but was not a fan.
    Cheers,

I've been using Jeris hair tonic, which is a Clubman product. I get it at Sally Beauty Supply and its less than $5 a bottle with their club card.

This is the same stuff my grandfather used to splash on my head when he'd cut my hair as a kid. It has a mild menthol smell, doesn't feel greasy at all (unlike Vitalis) and is a great way to keep my hair looking well-groomed on those days when I don't have time to step in the shower and do a full shampoo.

They make 2 versions of this ... one with oil and one without ... so be sure to read the label before you buy. I prefer the one without oil, but of course, YMMV.

I use Jeris also, but I have short (like under half an inch) hair the majority of the time. I use it to help keep my hair from being overly dry, and the smell, well the smell is just a great plus!
