Default So, I have an old pillowcase here...

Could it be a suitable option for a pasted strop? I am thinking of impregnating it with CrOx and FeOx. It is a cotton case, so it should, in theory, work, right? I figure I can use it, and if I don't like it, Crox and FeOx washes out easily.

It should be fine to use as a paste base.

    Or you could use newspaper.

    It's all good!

Hmmm. I also just found a synthetic fiber athletic belt. The kind used to hold up football pants. I have some experimentation to do. I love a FeOx edge...

I love CBN...it adds keeness and still maintains smoothness. But its a huge YMMV.

I don't like synthetic poly fabric for strops. Cotton, linen, leather. It's a short list. Paco likes using seatbelts tho, so that's a huge YMMV thing too :).
