    Default Hello from Virginia Beach!

I'm a chick who's been lurking about for a while and finally decided to join. All of this information has really been helping out, though I think I have more items in my Amazon wishlists than I could ever use in my lifetime due to my severe lack of cheek stubble.

I use a Merkur 180 Long-Handled, Van Der Hagen soap (puck? is that the term?), an unknown Omega pure brush, no mug atm, and no aftershave. The basic cheapo Amazon set, heh. I used to own a TOBS sandalwood, but I may have accidentally tossed it in my crazy move, for which my bathroom products tend to fall prey to my "abandon ship" mentality. Planning on buying a better (best badger) brush, a mug, better soap, and aftershave soon. And not tossing those.

Nice to finally meet you all!

Welcome to B&B !! I have vacationed many times over the years at VA Beach .. I love it there .. I downloaded a picture of the boardwalk on my computer a few days ago as my desktop wall paper.

Living in that beautiful area, you want to have as little body hair as possible to allow the rays to soak in. May I highly recommend trying two products: TOBS Avocado, and T&H Rose. Wonderful.
Wishing I was back on the AT.

Welcome aboard the B & B (besides being enrolled in the fictional, sacred and utopian Order of Shavedom). Please feel free to come up to the promenade / sun deck & 'sit-a-spell'.

Sounds like you're off to a great start and yes...(and there are a many great Ladies here on B & B), this Forum has the knowledge, ideas, and all around 'know-how' to assist in your Wet-Shaving experience. In a nut-shell...your 'gonna' love it here.

In my opinon, it's wise and sage advice to get a Razor Blade Sampler (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php/208375-DE-Blade-Sampler-Which-Blade-First?highlight=), so that you'll see what blade would be a good fit (mild, moderate & aggressive, ect...), for your legs and Razor plus the Wiki entitled Leg Shaving (http://wiki.badgerandblade.com/Leg_shaving), and joining the Women Shavers Group (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/group.php?groupid=88), maybe of great interest to you and is very informative.

Although, you may not be additted yet (I think I'm holding up fairly well...with a few exceptions), because we all suffer (gladly and are doomed perhaps), from this shaving complusion (and other Acquisition Disorders), because at times..."Resistance is futile".

Please don't forget once you get time....to tell us a little about yourself in the Hall of Fame sub-forum.
