    Default RazoRock Aftershave Wax

I just bought some RR aftershave wax after hearing a lot of great things about it's moisturizing and soothing properties.
However, I've heard mixed reviews about the scent.
One question: how well does it mix with an AS splash, or is this a bad idea?

I mixed some with Lavanda today and I think I used a little too much of the RR.I had some whiteness on my face that went away with some massaging. My face still feels great after 7 hours. If you try mixing it do very little.I used that I normally would use for 444 which is a pea sized amount.Apparently that's too much for the RR.Now you have me thinking if it was because I used too much RR or it doesn't mix well with splashes.

It's supposed to be used alone. This is not 444!

Thank you for the advice Marco. I believe I saw that you posted that on another thread.
I was just curious if anyone did mix it like 444.

When people say mix, do you actually mix in you plam, or apply it one after another?

It's not designed to mix; and, I would not recommend it.

I regularly use a product similar to RR wax (Blur Beard's Revenge) or the King Louis Lavendar wax and let it sink in a bit, then add a few drops of after shave spash to my hand and rub it on ... or my favorite, just spritz a bit a Floid Blue from the big bottle using their nice atomizer.

Thanks Joe. That settles that. I will use it as a stand alone AS.

My favourite scent of those currently available is the King Louis Lavender.

Question, guys: is the RazoRock 888 Aftershave Lotion (and wax) name a play on the classic 444 Aftershave Balm? Never tried 444 but I've heard it gives a good freeze, as does 888 AS Lotion.

Joe actually didn't tell me anything regarding new scents on his waxes. What I know is that he is working on a Floid-type aftershave splash as his next AS project.

That sounds like too much to me - when I used my AS wax I dip the pad of my middle finger into it, just enough to get a light coating, once for each side of the face. A pea-sized amount would leave me pretty wet.

Darn...i was hoping for a Lime Wax. i'm still holding out for a Coconut RazoRock Line as well

i'm very happy and impressed with my current waxes (KL and 888), but i'd love to see more.

Well anything could happen, Bruce. I'd personally love to have a Lavender and Lime soap in the new La Famiglia line (with matched balms). A Coconut soap and wax sounds very interesting, too.
