    Default First Complete Shave

I had picked up a "sight-unseen" from Larry to get started and while I was getting some modest success, I felt like I needed a bit more heft in my hand. While there are many wonderful vintage razors around, I thought for my second straight I'd pick up a new one. After some back & forth with Jarrod I settled on a Dovo Bismarck. As you guys know it's a full hollow 6/8 carbon steel with ebony wood scales. I was drawn to the shouderless design. This completely changed my shave. I seemed to have greater purchase on the razor with more control and was able to successfully navigate the jaw-line, chin and even under the nose with nary a nick or weeper. All I can say is that I have Bob's site open on another tab so I can peruse his offerings.

You mean bobsrazors? I two from Bob. One is in transit, the other is absolutely stunning. It's the middle one...and the pic doesn't do it justice.
