For what they are, why are they so expensive

.... i was looking at buying some of those acrylic brush holders..........

..........but for what they are, they are expensive.....

.............it must cost pennies to make, but the cheapest ones cost almost $4 each plus shipping.....

............i know that cuttingedgerazors has multiple brush holders.....

...............perhaps that is the way to go.........

I will give the quick answer, Low Demand compared to mass marketed consumer goods, High Cost of Setup to run injection and molding, High inventory holding costs, and necessary profit, translates to high prices as compared to if you manufactured one million a year and sold every one by the end of the year.

It is not offensive but it is considered to be bad form, in general, to post like this.
ESPECIAL if you do it non stop, like you do.
A example: nothing wrong with starting a sentence without a CAPITAL once in a while, by mistake.
But if you start every sentence like that you make it harder to read for others.
It shows the amount of effort you want to put into your post.
Even if that were not true, it come across as lazy posting.
Why not turn that question around: why don't you post with good sentences, lacking the huge amounts of periods,
starting with a capitol and finished with a period.

It is called an ellipse and is commonly used in writing to indicate the omission of words.

Others may use several ... to indicate a pregnant pause or a moment of pensiveness.

In either case... stop the snarky comments... OK?

If perchance you're asking about the plastic brush holders that a brush hangs in, I purchased a doz. of the for an extreamily good price, shipping is the end problem cost wise.

I don't think there is any wrong in the way leonidas posts. The forum is filled with cookie-cutter replies by veteran members taking entire half pages. That, I find idiotic and thoughtless. Also, as very appropriately titled by Whilliam, the unparagraphed wall of words. Of-course, one could always skip the threads and posts one finds irksome.

......and writing in smaller case is just something i've always liked. and it was not permitted in grammar school by my teacher ms. turnig...

....of course that was taking pen to paper ..... computers were not invented then, and typrwriters were cost prohibited...

Why are you quoting me?
I only jumped in since it was brought up. And I never said it was wrong. It is allowed after all.
I don't think it's very readable, that's all.
Plus it did not know he was of age. I don't believe in iron, un-bendable rules. The elder and youngest and weakest can be cut some slack.
But IF he was young, then I would feel it is lazy to post like that. But again, still following rules.
