400 Spoilers, TM Notovan , Fatboy and Black Tip. Penhaligons Castile Shaving Cream FT

First is a lot of 400 Gillette spoilers, mostly in packs of 15 for sale. Some of these are the Super Stainless version, while others have the "spoiler" logo. My understanding is that they are the exact same blade, the spoiler was added later as a marketing tool.

In any case, most of these are loose packs, but I pretty positive they are all full. I cannot be 100% sure without taking them out, so to help assuage any concerns about this, I am including 34 sealed FRENCH made Gillette Super Stainless blades, on top of the 400. This is easily more than a decade's worth of blades.

Next I have a Tony Miller Notovan strop with genuine linen and D-Rings. I bought this strop new, and have surprisingly only used this it 2-3 times. At first I was too scared to use it for risk of damaging it, but once I did I found I just don't care for the draw. It feels like stropping on ice. It's a fantastic strop, but just not my taste. I just have another TM with more draw I prefer.

It is in like new condition. No cuts, nicks, or scratches. It has a superficial wrinkle from shipping, visible in the third photo. This is exactly how it arrived to me from Tony Miller. It will need to go in a large box. I apologize the photos are sideways, they open vertically on my computer.

Next are a black tip and very ugly fatboy from this thread available 20% off. So the black tip is $16 shipped, no case, and the fatboy is $20 shipped. The fatboy is hideous, but it works exactly as it should. If you're looking for a beater, this is it. If you decide to buy it, please do not expect anything but an ugly fatboy with brassing, plate loss, tarnish, the whole works.

You removed the price on last month's listing. Are they 20% below what you listed them previously for?

You forgot to put in the width of your stop also. Is it 3", 2 1/2", or?

That is the same batch of spoilers I listed last month.

They were originally listed for $400. I cut the price by 10% to $360. And now relisting them requires 20% from the lowest priced, which makes them $288

Can you perhaps provide a little more provenace on these unsealed packs of blades? Were they collected as individual packs over the years, or one purchase from a collector? Any reason not to think they are random packs from multiple dead guy's damp drawers? I'm interested, but it seems like a real crapshoot with them all being unpackaged. You started off wanting sealed swede money for them which I don't think they rate. They are open packs, why do they rate more than ten cents a blade?

That is a perfectly reasonable question. I can understand your hesitancy to want all these packs if they came from 20 different people

I acquired most of them from one collector (fellow hoarder). The ones in the little plastic bags came from a member here, and the ones that are still sealed in the package came from someone else. For some reason, the gentlemen I bought the vast majority of them from had them all opened. I don't know why, perhaps he found them easier to store that way? I have used some of them (from different packages not listed here) over the years, and all of the packages I used were full. I also looked at the dispensers when I originally received them, and they all looked full to me. I've hoarded enough blades to get an idea of what a full dispenser looks and feels like. Without actually taking them all out, I can't promise there aren't any packs missing a blade or 2 here or there, so I'm throwing in some extra blades to help relieve any concerns in that regard. I've moved nearly entirely to straights, which is the only reason I'm selling them. I have the 34 French Super Stainless blades listed as included as part of the "compensatory package," and I think they are fantastic blades. But I do have some other blades lying around I'd be happy to include instead if you'd prefer something else.
