Default I love the Moos, so I would also probably like.........................

Similar to the Floid thread someone started a while back, I'm curious as to what other A/S might be in the same vein as the Irisch Moos. I prefer a alcohol based splash, no balms or moisturizing stuff.

    Your suggestion gents?

Pine/wood scented, and very similar are:
    Pino Sylvestre
    Pitralon Classic

I actually compare and recommend them against each other int the reviews.

Alpa 378 is a great cheaper option if you can find it. Almost a dead ringer from Czech if I recall correctly and around $8 or so.

I'm not affiliated with this shop nor have I been a customer, just found this in a google search and it has some great info regarding Alpa 378:

Wow some one else on B&B has used this stuff. I found a vendor on the bay who sells it. It does smell like SIM but fades a lot faster. The menthol hit is brilliant. Mixed with a little 444, BRRRRRRR!.

Can anyone describe the Irish Moos scent to me? :)
I read a few things here and there, but i'm thinking it might be similar to Mennen green deodorant?

MY wife says the Moos reminds her of a rainy forest. Kinda woodsy, but definitely vegetation in it. I really like it. Smells clean and fresh, but not fresh in the powdery sense. Fresh in the greenery sense.

I've used Alpa 378 and like it as well. Its a small bottle but not very expensive and has a bit of menthol.
But I've never used IM so can't say how it compares.
