    While we are on the subject,I would like to say that the Hugsby P31 single AA flashlight is a really well made torch ,with loads of light coming from a readily available,and cheap AA battery.Under $14 from http://www.dx.com I have given many of these as gifts,and produced many smiles with them.

    I run xtar 18700's in my torches... they will fit in almost all 18650 lights but are 5mm longer as they have extra protection and shockproofness (I think I invented a word there). also sipiks might be worth some consideration because they are great and cheap and run on either AAs or 14500s which double the output!
