I take it back. My Damaskeene still shaves me better - by a whisker! Shaved with it today and a GEM stainless (3).

This morning I put a GEM SS into the MMOC and went to work. The MMOC has a completely different feel to it than the Ever Ready 1912 or the Featherweight. The shave felt rough and I had irritation after the shave. It was BBS, but not AGAIG. I will continue to use it to see if it was blade or aggressiveness. Next SE shave will be my first shave with a new to me GEM Lather Catcher, circa early 1900's

Gillette Slim set on #7. Some Coates Almond shave cream finished off by a mixture of witch hazel & ToOBS balm.
The TOBS balm is a little "sticky" by itself, so the witch hazel cuts it nice while still leaving the TOBS scent.

Cobra classic and a feather pro balde. SWEET!!!!
