Burham razor. Today I despined a Gem blade and used the Burham. One of the smoothest shaves I have had with a SE razor. Mild yet efficient. The first shave with this razor with a Gem blade was like taking a meat grinder to my face. I quit before the first pass was finished and continued my shave with a 1912 Damaskene. No worries today, the blade sits just right, and I don't think I could cut myself if I tried. The only drawback is the slim handle. It gets slippery easily and then it's very hard to hold on to.
