Vulfix 2236 Stand

Does anyone who owns this brush have a recommendation on a stand? Preferrably chrome or black. The shop I purchased it from did not have one in stock that fits, and with its large knot and large handle I don't want to blindly order one if fear it wont fit. Thanks in advance!

Let me RePhrase: It makes sense to me that gravity would pull water away from the knot and dry it faster/more thoroughly...Do I need a stand for this brush? I've read many threads on stands and there are ALOT of comments suggesting that stands are unneccesary and really more for looks...is this the case?

Anyone have thoughts on the need for a stand?

I guess you don't really need a brush stand, and your brush will more than likely be O.K. I for one like the fact of it hanging bristles down so that any moisture will drip off.

Contact Vulfix direct. I'm sure they'll have the correct stand for that model brush.

I don't think that is true.

But I do think a stand is a fine idea either way.

Try not to put your brush away so wet that there are still visible water droplets within it.
Capillary action is stronger than gravity on water, so if your brush is reasonably shaken out, and maybe if you run it against a towel for a few strokes, it will dry just as fast either way.


I would like a stand for to prevent placing the damp wooden handle of my favorite brush down on the shelf, however.

I always shake it lightly but enough to ensure the bulk of the water is out...certainly never visible water leftover and the brush barely feels damp. This is reassuring. I saw a quote in another thread that said "always be leery of someone recommending a stand, they may be trying to sell you one"...

On the site, go to Vulfix brushes, scroll through all the selections, and you will find the stands that fit all models. It may require a phone call to the owner to insure you are choosing the correct size stand. They cost $9 plus you will have to pay for shipping.

Funny you suggest him, that's where I got it. Unfortunately he didn't have anything in stock. I've ordered a stand from RoyalShave.com...now the question is will it fit?!?
