    Default EBay overlook?

Did this posting fly under the radar, or is there a reason this didn't sell? They look to be ivory scaled and in good shape...

    here's the posting:

Maybe it was the $625 price tag. Sure, that's not bad for a 7 day set, but I don't have that kind of coin just laying around....

We are a frugal lot...one razor for 80.00 not too bad, but at 600.00 a custom razor looks a lot more palatable than 7 plain Jane vanilla razors.

2 lousy pictures, ambiguous description, high price. The seller doesn't want to sell, or is clueless. If they are ivory, say ivory, not "no sales outside us, no exceptions" and calling the material "highly grained exotic material" Bone can be highly grained natural material too.

If it was legit ivory, clear large individual pictures, proper description including what the material is, then it SHOULD have sold at this price handily. With bone scales the pictures are crap, the description sucks, and nobody wanted a 7 day set of framebacks for $450.

You can't sell ivory on ebay, hence the sketchy description. They try to hint at it without saying it.

I understand the sticker shock, but the opening price put each razor at just under $70. A 7 day set in (presumably) ivory for such a price doesn't seem so bad (to me) in that light! I didn't bid because I neither a fan of frame backs nor Swedish steel (heresy, I know)!

Well they look nice to me - just a bit too big for me. I like em a bit smaller. Good luck.
