New EJ BBB... very disappointed.

I just received a new EJ Best in medium in faux ivory. Comparing it to my EJ BBB in horn which I've used for about 2 years and I'm very disappointed. These are the same size knot, 21mm and both are considered medium. From the looks of it EJ has severely downgraded the density of their knot for this brush, the new brush easily has 30-40% less hair. This is going right back to the vendor, and I'm out about $6 in shipping.

This brush had a great reputation and it's sad to see this.

Give it a chance to bloom before you make your mind up on it..... badger brushes change shape pretty dramatically after a couple uses.

Meh... my first brush was one of those.
I haven't used it since getting my first Simpson except for one road trip, and before the next road trip I bought a turn-back Silvertip travel brush from Frank's. The Frank's is nicer.
