Hello all, I've been lurking here for quite some time. Recently I've entered myself into two PIFs. But the real news is that I was talking to my grandfather on the phone today and asked if he had any double edged razors or anything like that. It was a bit of a stretch, but considering my grandparents are almost horders, it was worth a try. He asked my grandmother, and sure enough she had all of her dad's (my great grandfathers whom I never met) shaving items stored in a box. She found the box and in it contained 4 double edged razors and 1 straight razor and a super badger brush. I'm going home this weekend and I can't wait to pick it up. Hopefully all of the items are still in good condition. I'll let y'all know. I think it will be very cool to shave with my great grandfathers razors.

Welcome & Congrats on the heirloom razors!
My dear 83-yo mother is the "disposal unit" ... like WALLE.
So there are very few things left from grands & almost nothing from great-grands ... count yourself lucky on the razors & shaving stuff!BOTOC - GEM MicroMatic OC ... Gentle enough for a grizzly but made for a man!
The only cartridges I own ...go into my guns!
