    Default Dunhill at Marshalls?

I walked in yesterday to my local Marshalls, half to find the E-shave soap a buddy told me he saw there and, half to flirt with a beautiful thing that works there, low and behold, as I rummage through the display I see the 2.5 oz Dunhills Man edt. I was shocked to say the least. Considering how far off the beaten path where I live is, and the price of $24 dollars. I have read many good things about this edt and had decided the next time I head to San Antonio or Austin I'll track some down and give it a whiff. I decided to buy without whiffing and at 24 bucks if I hate it, it will go on the bst, no big loss. Well, it's not going on the bst. I like it, lots! Can't wait to wear it out one of these nights.

I see quite a few Dunhill edt products at the TJMaxx. There seem to be quite a variety of them. I tried searching basenotes.com for the ones I found, but the list is long.

We don't have a TJMaxx locally so I never get to shop there. It just shocked me to see a Dunhill anything locally lol I went through the display three times to make sure they did not have anything else by Dunhill, I was hoping to find the 1934 edt but no luck. I was excited to see the eshave soap since there are basically no wet shaving supplies locally besides wally world so the Dunhill was the icing on the cake. Oh, and by the way I did get to flirt that that beautiful thing that works there :)

Dunhill Man is not the Dunhill for Men 1934 that everyone raves about. The Dunhill Man seems to be always at TJ Maxx and Marshalls, it's apparently a common scent from 2003 which may or may not be worth $24. I was able to pick up a bottle of the 1934 Dunhill online for a good price, something around $25 a couple weeks ago, it reminds me a lot of Trumper's Spanish Leather, very nice, doesn't last very long though. I think even this has been reformulated somewhat, but it's apparently head and shoulders above all the other Dunhill offerings, which seem to be mediocre for the most part.

That's what I was afraid of, especially since I couldn't find a definitive match on basenotes. Glad I passed.

I know the two are different, was hoping to see the 34 but no such luck. The Dunhill Man I think is worth $24, but I wouldn't pay anywhere near $60 but I am still going to get some of that 1934, sooner or later :)

So, the one that doesn't say Edition on the bottle is supposed to be the original (1934)?

Several of the Dunhills are regulars at my TJM and Mar.

Marshalls is always a crap shoot but can hold some treasures. Ive seen some guerlains there recently, and lots of Dunhills. Also there was a large selection of shaving accessories/mens care things. They had a bunch of eshave items and Billy Jealousy styling products.

    Each trip is an adventure.

They will probably be increasing their stock of men's products now with Fathers Day coming up soon. The next few weeks will be a good time to check in often.

The one in TJ Maxx today says Dunhill for Man (or Men or something), and is in a dark brown, rectangular box. It is not the 1934, but that is about all I can tell about it. Basenotes does not list it. What is it like?

At the Marshalls/TJ Max around my neck of woods here in Chicago, I see Dunhill quite regularly. Mostly it's Dunhill Desire or Pursuit, neither of which I care for.

You may be seeing this one. I've seen it before in TJ Maxx. The box is about the same color as the bottle here. It's hard for me to describe, because no single note seems to stand out. To me, it seems slightly synthetic, but like a typical modern masculine scent.
