Default Help me pick new ASBs!

Hi everyone! I'm looking for some new ASB recommendations. I've tried...

    - Proraso (lotion, not splash) - LOVE it, for the cool feeling, excellent scent, thin viscosity, and the fact that it's not heavily scented enough to irritate my face.
    - Truefitt & Hill various (samplers) - have liked some, but found many to be too heavily scented and give me a lasting burning sensation throughout the day.

That's it! I'm looking to add 2 or 3 products to use as after-shave MOISTURIZERS in my rotation. I'm stocked up on Proraso. I'm open to products that have a scent I can carry around with me throughout the day, but nothing too heavily fragranced I suppose, since T&H bothers my skin. I'm also open to unscented products and products that are scented but don't last long.

I live in an extremely dry climate (Las Vegas) and I already use alum+witch hazel generally following a shave, so I'm looking for moisturizers only, not astringents or antiseptics.

Here are some things that I'm considering:

    - GFT Skin Food. Do you guys prefer Lime or Coral? I don't want Sandalwood, the scent just doesn't do it for me.
    - RazoRock Aftershave Wax. Does the "original" have a scent? What do you guys prefer, original, King Louis Lavender, or Eucalyptus & Tea Tree?

What else do you guys recommend?

I really like Every Man Jack post shave lotion, great stuff at a great price, no SLS or parabens and they have certain varieties with SPF protection

Used L'occitane asb for 10 years. Got it during a period when my skin was particularly sensitive. Less scented than the TH asb which I also use. Tried the lime skin food and cannot tell that it helps at all. Just seems to disappear leaving no moisturizing benefit behind.

But then, this is a deeply ymmv riddled territory. Try them all.

I've found Nivea sensitive to be one of the more comfortable ones. Nicest thing about that product is that you can find it in just about every larger store and some markets. It SHOULD be on every counter as it is so easy to get.

I recommend trying Pre de Provence -- if you're a regular balm wearer, it's light enough in consistency to feel refreshing in the warmer months. One of my favorite scents in shavedom.

Just a heads-up from my POV... I don't find the Skin Food or RR Wax to moisturize much at all.

I'll second what other guys have already mentioned. L'Occitane and C&E are truly awesome. Every Man Jack is very solid and a great value. I use a splash over the EMJ since it's unscented (even the mint version is pretty much unscented).

GFT Skin Food Lime is one i use daily, but i follow with a wax or balm. it doesn't offer enough moisturizing for me.

RR Original is very very strong PATCHOULI scented. i like the KL, but probably because i use a lot of Lavender products lately.

Thanks a lot for the info guys, it was particularly REALLY helpful to hear that RR wax and Skin Food are not especially moisturizing. brucered/jpipes3, thanks a lot! I think I'm going to go with Pre de Provence and Mama Bear's Winter Aftershave Balm in Dublin Tweed scent. thanks franz!

444 ASB mixed with your favorite AS splash or by itself, a little dab is all you need. It has a light Menthol scent which fades within a minute, best value is here, throw in some Cream or the Ach Brito Lavanda, very nice; http://www.theportugalonlineshop.com...e-balm-gel-37g
