    Default Update on bonsai tree

My bosai tree was doing quite well. Until a racoon ran over it and broke the container. I think the tree is OK. I ordered another container in which to repot the tree. I also ordered a Sabal Palm bonsai tree. Dang those racoons!!!

The tree should be fine especially if branches weren't broke.

Yeah, they're a menace. A .22 takes care of them nicely, however. If you're in the city though, your neighbors may not like that approach. I dispense with them regularly around my place out in the country. I can't shoot enough of them to even remotely make a dent in the population.

We get them around here from time to time, but they tend to move on after the stray cat population dwindles.

Now, I don't know if they are killing the stray cats, or if they are simply stealing the food so the cats move on and with the cats gone, the do-gooders that put food out for the strays stop.

Either way, I'm happy to see them when they appear.
