Sounds like I'm on my own for a #76.

So, post-able pens leaves us with:

    Hudson
    Encore
    Premiere
    Pearl
    Pearlette
    Huron
    Huron Grande
    Morgan

I believe that is a correct list, correct me if I'm wrong.

The Glenmont and Herald Grande are out in my opinion since they've already been done. For me, the Pearl is also out since I have one and was in on the FPN group buy.

I realize this won't happen until next year anyway, but it's fun talking about it.

I was just looking at Brian's current inventory for about an hour... So many nice looking pens! A lot of Minas too. Some really cool looking material!
I am trying to have some restraint!

That sounds about as likely as the #76, they both do not post. Which means you probably rule out a good portion of the big leaguers that are interested in the group buys.

Don't forget to shake the ink before you load it.

It will appear lighter in finer nibs ... not that I remember what nib you ordered.

I find that when a pen loaded with BBB has been sitting overnight or whatever, it tends to write 'lighter' for the first few minutes, and then darkens up.
Be there or be square. Only I can do both!
I've got a cat named Beefeater and a dog named Beefeater, and two goldfish called Beefeater and Beefeater. There's Beefeater my hamster and Beefeater my horse, and my piglet, known as Beefeater of course.

Thanks, I'll give that a try, though Nathan doesn't leave a lot of room in the bottle for a good shake.

Given enough group buys and enough participation, non-posting and non-clip pens should happen eventually. There are, after all, people who probably aren't participating because the pen has a clip. There are probably not really people who refuse to buy because a pen has the option to post, but there are likely people out there whose buying decision would go from no to yes based on it being a 76 or a Mina Extended. I would also say that if B&B doesn't mind new users hopping on a deal (and you certainly welcomed me), a little promotion would help increase the nucleus of prospective purchasers enough that any pen Brian would offer as a group buy could happen.

What about a pen that resembles Big Red used by Macarthur? It can be called Big Ed and have the military clip.

    The kind with the base.
    That would be sexy.

I'm sure Brian can make something like that.

I think it's kind of funny that this years LE isn't even in the hands of all the folks who bought one, and we're here discussing next years model.

It's like ADHD. Should we get a poll going in a new thread?

It is amusing. I actually chuckled out loud the other day over the comments.

Assuming the price was the same as this last one, and the model is something I'm interested in. I'd be game for another one this year. Otherwise I'm going to just get a #76 in a couple months.

Did anyone see the announcement that Brian Gray is adding a new pen to his production line, and coming out with a Limited Edition signature line Stealth Pen... The LE will have some features that Brian says he has never used before on any of his pens...
Guess I am saving my pennies!

*sigh* guess I now have to as well. Though, my limit on pricing for a pen needs to be less than $300. I could splurge for $350-400 tops. But if the LE signature pen is over that there is no way I could justify the price for me personally. Curious about the new pen in the line up though.

And where did you read about this?

Edit: Turns out it's on the Edison site now. Ignore my silly question :)

I got it on an email. I know what you are saying about the money, since it is an LE, and he will be making many of the same, hopefully it will not be too high. Though it will include these new features, so who knows.
