Love my mini daschund, Frank. In the 2nd picture, my youngest daughter got all of her stuffed daschunds out so Frank could play with his brothers and sisters.

I believe we have been told it is in transit. From the group buy over on FPN, I know Brian mentioned that occasionally there is a customs hangup that adds a couple of days to the ~week transit time. It didn't hold up the FPN one, so that might be a bad sign that his order is "due" for the customs delay this time around. :(

Yep, in transit. The company is usually fast with emails, but I think that they are swamped after the Chicago Pipe Show.

So I have no tracking information yet. I'm hoping for some clarification today.

Well, the ebonite is due to arrive next Tuesday. It shipped yesterday, I just learned.

I'm disappointed with this, as they usually ship within a couple days of my order being finalized, which was 1.5 weeks ago. They were unusually poor with communication this time around, unfortunately.

So we're a little behind the schedule that we had hoped for. Our apologies!

Expect to see progress photos next week, barring something unforeseen

Brian, I'm just happy you've been plenty of busy with other things so this hasn't held you up. I'm eager to see these pens in progress, but I know it will come.

Delays happen, no worries. The wait will be well worth it!

As this will be my first, I can't wait to get it. When Benevolent Badger Blue appeared on the home page, I bought a bottle knowing that I would some day own a pen that would be filled by it. Talk about an awesome birthday and Father's Day gift, no matter when it arrives. Now I just have to find where I stored the ink!

    FINALLY, RODS ARE HERE!!!

There's already a couple of meters in the lathe right now, so there's a few missing from this photo. We are not wasting time on this, since the delivery was so late.

So we are off to the races, as of about 20 minutes ago! Progress photos will follow!

Thanks for bearing with us through this delay!

Yay! I can't wait to see more progress on these. I would love to see more about how these are made too.

Thanks Brian...the rods are larger in diameter than I thought they'd be.
