    Interesting to look at the pics and realize I'm looking at my pen...I wonder where exactly it lurks in yon rods...
    I 'm in Conventional Cursive Correction...I didn't even know there was a law...!

    Square or round makes very little difference, really. Square stock is held in square collets, and the first pass knocks off the corners.

    No difference from a overall machining standpoint, but square stock might wear down tooling a little faster.

    Threaded. Look at the first couple of photos, you can see the finial male threads.
