Default Which decant bottles do you prefer?

We're reordering some supplies, and figured we'd take a poll to see which size bottle for the small decants you guys like.

    Here are the options:

    1. The standard 5ml plastic with atomizer top:

    2. A 10 ml hexagonal clear glass bottle with open/splash top:

    3. A 15 ml square frosted glass bottle with open/splash top:

    Let the voting begin.

I REALLY like the glass bottles (#2 & #3) as they feel/look much nicer, and as a splash top - make the decants last a heck of a lot longer!

I voted for the standard 5ml plastic atomizer bottle, but what I'd really prefer is to have the option for a 10ml, 15ml, or 20ml version -- I find that the 5ml size is too small for me (OK, I admit to being a "scent slut", and apply what most would consider to be "too much" of the product; however, I do it all for me, and that's OK! [apologies to Al Franken]).

Ideally I prefer a 10ml with spray top -- easiest to apply and 10ml seems to be just the right amount to wear for multiple occasions to get the best feedback on scent.

But since that isn't an option, I went with the 10ml open/splash top.

Joel, you really think an open/splash top tends to last longer than an atomizer/spray?

+1 (on everything including the "scent slut" remark )

BTW: I would never apologize to Al Franken ( mainly because I wouldn't talk to him)

I'd love to see a 10ml or 15ml with an atomizer.

    Whatever is cheapest.

I generally prefer a splash (FWIW).

I voted for the 10 ml size because I think that is enough to really evaluate the scent. However, I think that depends on the cost.

I'd like to spend <$15 to try something.

For a relatively inexpensive scent, like a Taylor or T&H, I'd rather have a 10 ml bottle in the $10-$15 range. For the more expensive stuff like C&S or Creed, I'd settle for a 5 ml.

I don't really care if it is a splash or an atomizer. I'd got with the less expensive of the two.

Just a side note... it seems inconsistent to me that some of the decants are listed in ml and others in oz. Might be nice if the description said "1 oz (approx 29 ml)"

I think #2 looks the sharpest.

The 10 ml hexagon is very cool. A spray in that size would be ideal though.

    the most for the least....lol

Though there is something I like to the act of splashing it on you hand, patting them together, and then patting it on your face.

ditto on that. i find i under apply (i guess that is better than over appling) with a open/splash top. atomizers usually work perfect for me. 10ml is a good amount but i think i would really like the 1/2oz (15ml) size the best. 15ml would last me quite a while.

    cheers,

You really think the Splash tops last longer? I always go through splash's much quicker than sprays.

How about another option? I've got a few decants off eBay that came in small glass bottles with roller ball tops. They are great and make controlling the amount that one applies really easy. I find that atomizers often apply too much.

#2 is the only way to go. It speaks the style of B&B.
