    Default Favorite cheap beer

Yes, despite not wanting to admit it, we have those times when money is tight. What's everyone's preferred cheap beers?

I just got off a Natural Light kick and would like to expand my hobo's palette.

I'm partial to National Bohemian; however, I do like some Stroh's or Schaefer every now and then.

Well its not swill beer. Around $10 a 12 pack...but my go to is: Shiner Bock.

PBR, Miller Highlife, Miller Lite, Michelob Golden Light are my cheap beers that Ill buy sometimes. Ill also buy a beer called Point Special(made in Stevens Point WI) Don't think they sell it out of WI. But its pretty decent.

Ive heard good things about Yuengling...but where I live they don't sell it.

PBR. Say what you will, but if I'm looking for a refresher to cool off after yard work (or similar chore) I always reach for a PBR.

I've spent half the money I've earned in my life on wetshaving, tobacco, booze and music. The other half I've just wasted.

Bud Light Lime, Michelob (sp?) Ultra.

I don't drink often though, so usually I prefer a nicer Belgian beer, or a local microbrew.

Cheapest beer here is Tiger, but the formaldehyde (alledgedly) in it gives me a foul headache - even just a couple will do it. So I stick with Heineken despite the price!

Michelob Ultra is the only real cheap beer that I drink. It's my pool beer for those 108 degree Texas days. Maybe a Michelob Lime Cactus from time to time. I prefer craft 99% of the time, though.

I was ashamed of myself for enjoying that cactus beer as much as I did. I feel like a soccer mom when I buy it, so I usually don't.
