Default Anyone have a source for Spanish Cedar (for building a humidor)?

I have some experience building boxes and have been thinking about building a humidor. If I do this, I'll build a box out of hardwood and line it with Spanish Cedar. The little bit of research that I've done tells me that it is critical to get Spanish Cedar that won't ultimately bleed oils; acetone, etc will not correct the situation and the only answer if this happens, is to replace the wood. That said, does anyone have a source for good quality Spanish Cedar?

Lee Valley Tools has some, and it's even in the right size for humidors. I'm not sure if they exist in the states, tho.

I'll check Lee Valley; didn't realize they carry that. I have been buying from them for years (they have a fulfillment operation in upper NY state, near the Canadian border); great people to do business with. Since I won't need a lot, I'd be willing to get some (at a much higher price per unit) via mail order; if not, I'll have to go to the nearest hardwood dealer and have them resaw something.

They usually have an "exotic woods" section where you can buy planks of spanish cedar etc. in a variety of sizes, including something like 3"x1/4"x36".

There's also pen blanks of stabilised maple which make nice handles/scales for razors.

I checked the LV web site; no Spanish Cedar. If you are into woodworking the LV catalog is deadly; tool porn (no pun intended).

It's never on the website. They also don't list their planks and big blocks of bocote, cocobolo, purpleheart, ebony, etc., possibly because they are irregular stock. Try giving your local place a call and see what they say.
