Cool handle. Did you make it? pm me if you have any separate handles like that which you would be prepared to send to AUS. I'd like to choose a slightly different knot and loft. Nice work.

Price just reduced to $30. I really want to get this brush into a good den.

So tempted right now.....pretty sure if SWMBO notices another package come in she will freak on me after all my acquisitions in the past month lol. If its still here later I'll probably grab it anyways.

Who made the knot? I'm wondering about the density/backbone.

The brush is sold right now payment pending. To answer a few questions:

surfingrob - here is a shot of the bottom. It does like pretty cool with the pores and stuff. It has been stabilized with polyresin and finished with a superglue top-coat.

SteveWY - I purchased the knot from Penn State Industries. I buy from them occasionally but will most likely order my future knots from TGN due to their broader selection. It has an ok density/backbone. I did a few test lathers to "de-funk" it a bit and it made a great bowl-full.

Mine. And if I end up not liking the knot, I'll re-knot it.

What a COOL-looking handle! And yeah, SWMBO is gonna notice. I might have to go buy her a pair of shoes or something shiny...

    Edit: Payment sent!

That's a great looking handle and if this had come up even a week ago it would have been mine (insert evil laugh). There are very few natural material brushes that show up in the BST and it's nice to see a homemade one.
