This is what i'm talking about! Weight Lifters unite! Wooo!! I don't see many BSN products here (other than Azmarks NO Xplode). Is that because there BS or is it the price? But i've only been in the game 2 years (one year just messing around and this past year i've been more serious and consistent with my workouts) and my supplements are as follows. Preworkout usually consists of either NO Xplode or MusclePharm's Assault, Beta Alanine, Creatine. During my workouts it's either Scivation Xtend or BSN's AminoX. Post Workout is Syntha-6. And no i don't work for BSN lol i just find there products tast better than ON. What does i need to add and what does i need to throw away? It's gonna take me awhile to look up all the products you guys have listed so far.

A lot of people like to slam on the larger companies. Mainly, they can be gimmicky and overpriced with a large ad budget. You can find better alternatives for the price in a lot of cases. NO Xplode was kind of the beginning of preworkout supplements. It has it's followers. My gripes with it are 1)they now have like 5 other prewo supps and 2)it contains creatine ethyl ester, which, from everything I've read, is bogus snake oil. Syntha 6 is more concentrate than isolate, hence the better taste. Not saying it is terrible or worse, but this means higher lactose which can be a deal breaker for people. It also means higher fat content.

I've never tried Assault, but I've heard good things about it as a very low stim preworkout. I don't see multi or fish oils on your list. Most people will always recommend protein, creatine, multi, and fish oil as staples and the basics of supplements to go along with having your nutritional lifestyle in check with your goals.

Pre - Lately GenXLabs PrePost. Usually No-Shotgun and sometimes Jack3d, Hemo Rage (not a fan, but trying to finish the tub). Anything to get me into the gym in the morning.
During - Gatorade, keep it simple and cheap. Yes, it has carbs. I can burn those off and I'm not entering any competitions.
Post and throughout day - GenXLab PrePost. Cellmass during a winter bulk, BSN product and pretty pricey, but I've always gotten good results with it. Cytosport Whey. Used to use ON, but that got expensive.
    Multi - Opti-Men
    Fish Oil

I used to take a lot more supps when I was a bit more serious and had some more time. Frankly, since getting rid of all of them I havent noticed a bit of difference in my physique or performance in the gym.

I don't currently take ANYTHING (I know, I know...) but when I remember to, it's a multivitamin called "Alive".

I like finding smaller companies that spend more time selling you the product than spend time trying to market it. There are a lot of good small makers out there. But I do like larger companies, BSN and Universal probably being my favorite. BSN does have the best tasting products though, I can kill a can of chocolate syntha6 in a week if I'm not careful

You have a good stack, like me, I like basics and just taking supps just to do what they are suppose to do which is supplement your eating. Beta Alanine and creatine is probably the best thing you can take IMO. Both one of the few scientifically proven things to work and real cheap. How do you like the AminoX? I think amino's are overlooked a lot of times. Fort post workout though, syntha is good but too much fat. I would just use it as a snack or to get some protein in because it is a lot of fat, not that bad of fat but still it is a lot. I take 3 scoops and thats 600 calories

NO Xplode use to the be the best thing around before it was reformulated. I think that and Super Pump were the first pre workouts to come out.

Creatine monohydrate is the best. I buy plain 'ol mono from vitacost brand lasts me forever!

Just caught you take a pre workout stim and beta alanine. Most pre workout stims have beta alanine in it so I wouldn't overload with beta alanine alone in the same day with it. Use it on your off days.

Are you using Hemo Rage or Hemo Rage Black? I never got a pump from either but I hear the black is one of the most intense around and I don't even take caffine.

A lot of the other supps aside from what you listed are just icing on the cake. Most though are just bs.

Great info guys!! Thanks!! Mark- the AminoX is better now since since they made it more soluble the first batch they made i would have to mix it up the night before and put it in the refridgerator over night so it wpuld disolve good. Otherwise you would have this frothy crap at the top you would have to drink before you got to the good stuff. Now i can just mix and go. Thanks for the info on the Beta Alanine i'll slow it down with that.

Binge- i take ON Multi and GNC's extra stength Fish Oil. Sorry i left that out.

Hemo Rage Black Ultra Concentrated. Its one of the more intense pre-workouts I've encountered, and I've used most of them. I ingest a good bit of caffeine, so my tolerance is pretty high, but this stuff is a bit too much even for me. Little too jittery. I only take about 3/4 scoop now instead of the full scoop.

I dont really find it does much for me except the caffeine department. Much better pumps without the jitters from many other products.

I forgot to add, Hemo Rage also tastes pretty bad. Definitely on the bottom of my list in the taste department.

Nutra rage is absolute garbage. A 20g prop blend (10 of which are carbs) leaving 10g for 55 ingredients. Don't waste your time or money.

For carnosine stores, you ideally need about 3.2g of beta-a. Too many companies will prop blend it and you'll have no idea what you're getting

There should always be creatine, it's cheap and it proven to work.

With all this talk and a check of the calender, I decided to start an ECA run. Not using the yohimbine hcl with it. The afternoon crash and grumpiness isn't anything I feel like dealing with. Starting with 1 ea. bronkaid/vivarin or coffee/baby aspirin twice a day this week. Next week I'll go to 2-3 times a day depending. Still confused if benadryl is necessary for this to reset the beta receptors every few weeks.

Also, out of multis. Looking to make an order of goodies this week. Hemavol and multi are on the list, and about all I can think of at the moment.

You can get a kilo of creatine mono for $15-20. That's 200 servings. Not bad for a safe product with more and more benefit findings every year.

Binge, you don't need the Y, it does not provide an added benefit imho. I'd add in Raspberri ketones.

    What's that in pounds?

Creatine has gotten a bad wrap over the years and even still today with the most being you retain water and bloat. I remember when it was first coming out it was mixed in with sugary drinks and yes you would bloat bad. And you do retain water but not subcutaneous, it is retained in the muscle cells which is what you want.
