So I almost lost my phone the other day. And I've found it by now, but looking into replacing it when I thought it had gone missing made me realize how relatively easy and cheap it can be. Previously I had thought I had to replace it through Verizon (my carrier; the contract is not up yet, so I'm still tied to them), but it turns out that I can buy a phone on eBay or similar that is compatible with a Verizon plan, and I can even call Verizon and confirm that it will work with my plan.
Anyway, I'm sort of toying with the idea of replacing my very small, but very featureless phone. Mainly, I just want something that I can synchronize with my iBook, in order to store and backup phone numbers. Camera, Video, Bluetooth, etc. are all much further down on the priority list.
Any suggestions? What are the wetshavers using for newfangled mobile telephones these days?
