    Default Wooden Shaving bowls

I am looking for wooden shaving bowls, preferably teak. I want to make my own shaving soap and put it a nice bowl. I can't seem to find them anywhere, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Shipping takes a while, but I like the acacia bowls at bestshave.net.

Some of the reviews say it's small. What's your thoughts on size?

It can be, depending on your soap. I have two bowls that I use for VdH soaps with no problem. My Crabtree & Evelyn soaps would probably fit in there as well.

I have a teak bowl from Art Of Shaving, it is a good size, but poorly finished. I have TOBS soap in it and fits perfect. I think this a standard size bowl. I like the size and I don't want to get any smaller, one reason is I use a larger brush and it would be more difficult to load with a smaller bowl. I thought Teak would be the optimal wood for a shaving bowl, I don't know about other species, i never heard of mango wood, so i don't how it would hold up.

I LOVE Teak, and crabtree and evalyn's shaving soap comes in a nice teak bowl. Not too expensive either, especially if you really want a teak bowl.
