Sorry if a dumb question, but does this cream have a rhubarby scent?
I use it for superlather too, but with MWF.

Great cream. If i had to pick one soap/cream for life, the I Coloniali cream would be the one.

Love this stuff, just bought 4 100 ml tubes of it - gave one away to a Swedish member in here on B&B
Still have 3 tubes left - very solid performing cream, only the scent lets it down a bit IMHO
Scent is smelling like an earthy sandalwood mixed with light chocolate & heated metal - sounds appealing, really not - but WoW this shaving cream is simply outstanding performance wise.
Performance 10/10
Scent 6/10
I tend to mix it with my cologne based creams, when I still want the cologne scent, but in a more toned down earthy version, then mixing it with I Coloniali cream makes wonders with EVERY cream because of how great the I Coloniali cream is......
I tried both the cream and the soap and preferred the soap. They both smell similiar, but the cream (to me) had this strange Ajax smell that would come and go. The soap didn't have that scent, just the mango scent, and it's one of my all time favorites.

This is a brilliant cream. A few people have mentioned the fragrance isn't to their liking, but I think it's kind of neutral and subdued. As was mentioned earlier, there's a chocolatey/malty tone to it, and I think there's a very small amount of menthol in it (could be wrong on the menthol, but there's a distinct but mild cooling effect).
It really needs only the tiniest amount to whip up enormous cushiony stable lather.
IMO this is the best cream I use. Lathers great and provides a wonderful cushion. The scent is on a par with its shaving performance. Everyone is different and has different tastes obviously but the scent is like incense or an intriguing spice to me. Just not flowers, citrus, or wood. Very complex.
It sounds like I should give this a try.
