    Default Best Nose/ear hair clippers?

I hope this is the right forum for this request.

I want to buy a GOOD nose hair clipper/cutter/device. I've tried a few down through the years and they never work well or last long.

Please give me your recommendations. The cost is not really an issue. I'm willing to pay for a good product.

Just purchased a groommate last week. It's must better than my off-the-shelf battery powered rotary from Target. I got mine of Amazon. It came with a little carrying case and cleaning brush for right around $20.

I bought an Norelco Phillips trimmer a few months ago. Have not had any problems. Found it at Amazon.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left.

But does the 'Groommate' work on the hair on one's earlobes?

Groommate is great for my nose hair. Not sure about the ears because they get tweezed out as soon as feel them.

Looks like the groommate is the one to try.

I use the Ace for Men Dual Action Trimmer. One side of it is a nose-hair trimmer and the other side of more an electric trimmer like a barber uses on your neck. I forget what size batteries it takes but mine have lasted a really long time. I've had no complaints with this little doohicky.

Laugh if you will but I use the "As Seen On TV" Finishing Touch trimmer. It's only around $9 and has worked great for me.

I got this Andis a few months ago, more powerfull than the Panasonic it replaced.
If you're familiar with Andis neck trimmers you'll know this is a good one. Does ears too!

I have used a Klipette trimmer for many years with good results. It looks almost identical to the Groommate.

Order placed. I have a battery operated Conair trimmer. It's ok, but the battery dies quite often. Here's hoping.

+1 The groommate is absolutely fantastic! I will never go back to a battery operated trimmer ever again. Ive had mine for about 18 months now and it gets used every 10 days and it is still as sharp as when it was new.

Me three. The Groommate is a knockoff of a more expensive Dovo unit, but works just dandy. No pinching, no pulling . . . just a clean schnozz and ears. Easily worth the two battery-powered clippers I've thrown out over the years.

Yeah, me too. I'm terrified that the hair will grow out thicker and darker if I shave/cut it. I know it's a myth but I don't want to take any chances with my ears. I'm not ready to look like my 90-year-old grandfather who appears to be trying to break some tragic record for world's hairiest ears. Luv ya, Gramps!
