Default Nivea for Men Mild Shave Cream...

Just got some of this from a local shop, for 50p a tube. He got it in a job lot as they had damaged boxes. The box was scratched, nothing wrong with the tube inside. Has anyone got any experience of this? I have read very favourable reviews on other sites.

I've used it. It's quite good but something about it irritated my face. I haven't had the best luck with Nivea products in general in this regard. I really liked the scent too. In the tube it can hardly be detected. Lathered up the scent becomes much more noticeable.

It's a very good cream as the Euro drugstore stuff goes.

The reviews I have been reading have suggested that it out performs the high end stuff like T&H.

Its good, was my first shave cream. The scent does feel a bit cloying after a while but nice performer overall. Try to find their sensitive cream, a lot better.

I have to say that I am very impressed with this cream. Out of the tube it's consistency appears to be very much like Taylors of Old Bond Street. I bowl lather and I have to say that I did find it to quite a 'thirsty' cream, requiring a little more water to get really get it going than I would have expected to use. However, the lather it did produce was fantastic to say the least. Very slick and giving an almost perfect cushioning effect, equally as good as the high end creams that I have (TOBS, T&H, CRS & Proraso). It seemed to last very well sitting in the bowl between applications. I had a lather that kept it's consistency for a 3 pass shave, it required no extra working after each pass. Also the amount of lather it produced from a small blob of product was more than adequate. I found it's scent to be very neutral, which is good if you are wanting to use an aftershave product that has a unique scent you want to maintain without clashing with any other scented products in your routine. I really am impressed with this cream.
