  1. Default 3rd shave with the 39c slant

3 shaves in with my new slant and I love this razor! My first true bbs since starting de shaving. And no irritation! I was nervous at first but this thing is great! Now I feel a little more confident to try my new r41. Cobra classic is next on my list. I have an artist club non folding but I'm too scared right now. Someday......

I put off using a 39C for ages in fear of its aggressiveness, only to find it was nothing of the sort. Congratulations!

I believe you will find the Cobra to be a smoother and easier shave than the slant, at least I do. I ditched my 39c in favor of the Cobra and haven't looked back. Don't fear the AC either, do a few dry run shaves with no blade to get some confidence and then go for it.

As long as you lay off the pressure with the slant you'll do fine, as you've already seen. The same for that Feather straight. Just go really light and start with the easy parts of your face like the sideburn area only. You'll get the hang of it pretty quick.

    Good for you!!!!

I could not decide which to get, the 37 or the 39 so I asked myself "what would any true blooded B&B member do"

I got them BOTH and I am glad that I did as they are BOTH great!!!

I recently bought a 39c because it was recommended by a friend. It's one of the top shavers as far as DE's go IMO. And two days ago I got my cobra, shaves even better but that has more to do with the kind of blades it uses. Long time ago I read a lot of horror story's about the artist club razors but wanted to try one anyway (if someone says you can't I will for sure). The most amazing razor I have, used for normal and head shaves. Non of my straights or safety razors gives me better results. No need to be scared.
