    Lightbulb ConUS wet-shaving mate search

    Hi Gents,

I'm looking for a reliable US resident B&B member here who can help on our commonly fare ill European community. We sadly skip the CONUS only offers in the B/S/T here or the SRP or the ebay. If someone could help us in the shipping we would appreciate it with some fancy european shaving rarity or some extra $ if you want this way of settlement. I imagine this as the following:

    - I will order the item to your address and pay for it immediately to the seller with the normal ways,
    - If the item arrives to you please notify me and I will send the expected amount of the US-EU shipping as a paypal gift or send the local-related shaving item to you on my cost.
    - Then you ship the item to me.
    - If my item lost on the shipping: it's my loss and not affect you. (However I received all of my items since I'm a proud member of the B&B)

Let's make some Inter-Atlantic wet-shaving friendship! Thank you!

I've had two fine gentlemen help me out like this as well for shipping to Canada. One as an intermediary for a vendor which did not ship to Canada, and another for a CONUS BST listing. Hopefully you will find someone to help out as well.

If someone quotes a CONUS only price, you can usually get them to ship internationally if you a) ask nicely and b) pay the difference in shipping.

Around here, the 'CONUS ONLY' isn't set in stone. When you're saying that you're whiling to pay the extra, the world is smiling at you.

Thanks for the advices. I usually do this method waht you desribe: ask the seller gently and in 9 form 10 the method is working. I'm looking for a solve for the remaining 10%.

CONUS = contiguous (spelling?) United States. Someone shipping "CONUS only" will not ship outside of this area.

My reason for not shipping outside CONUS is that international shipping means a trip to the post office here in New York, which is usually cumbersome and time consuming.
Other than that, I'd have no problem with it.

Hopefully, a member will step up and help Zoltan with his purchases.

I think that when people type CONUS, I hope they mean the USPS domestic shipping area. It costs approximately the same to ship to Hawaii and Alaska compared to any other state. The USPS domestic shipping area also includes Guam and Puerto Rico, not sure if we have any B&B members who live in those places.

I've always assumed CONUS was an abbreviation for Continental United States. But given that Alaska and Hawaii generally cost the same in postage, it makes no sense to exclude them.
