My dad and I were out turkey hunting Sunday morning. On the way out of the woods I spotted this a bit off the path:

It is called Sulfur Shelf or Chicken of the Woods (maybe some others)... the flesh is very much chicken meat-like. This one was just a bit older than "prime" in some spots but good quality regardless. 30-40 pounds picked, not sure what it ended up cleaning down to. My wife and I had to be back home so I didn't get a chance to try any yesterday but my mom and dad both liked it and cooked some up for my grandparents who enjoyed it as well.

Good stuff, and you can't miss it! VERY bright.
